Charles Sanderson Senior Recital
As a culmination of his four years studying at Furman, Charles will present a Senior recital, with works like Dover Beach by Samuel Barber and Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen. Charles is a student of Dr. Grant Knox and Hailey Anthum Hunter.

In a production of Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, Charles will be performing the role of Frank Maurrant.

Handel's Messiah | Furman University
Alongside the Furman Symphony Orchestra and the Furman Oratorio Chorus, Charles sings baritone solos “Thus Saith the Lord” and “But Who May Abide.”
Speed Dating Tonight! | Sarah Reese Lyric Theatre
Performing alongside his classmates and professors, Charles will be singing the role of Dater #12.
Fall Honors Recital | Furman University
Having been chosen from among other Junior and Senior music students at Furman University, Charles Sanderson will be performing alongside his fellow Furman students. At this recital, Charles will be performing “Hai gia vinta la causa!” from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, alongside coach and pianist, Hailey Anthum Hunter.
Die schöne Müllerin
Performing alongside William Jordan (tenor), Bennett Wright (tenor), James Moorehead (baritone), and Dr. David Gross (piano), Charles performs selections from Die schöne Müllerin. Combined, they perform the entire song cycle.
Seagle Festival
Selected as a 2025 Emerging Artist, Charles attends the 2025 Seagle Festival. He performed the roles of:
Monkey King/Crocodile/Lady Tiger - Kamala Sankaram’s Monkey and Francine in the City of Tigers
Leader of the Indigent Marchers (Jim) - Tom Cipullo’s Mayo
Purser - Cole Porter’s Anything Goes
Pirate - Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance
Chorus - Georges Bizet’s Carmen
